Skin care products are not well-regulated or thoroughly screened for safety in North America. While the European Union (EU) has banned hundreds of ingredients in cosmetic products, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have banned only 11 ingredients. Most skin care products contain animal byproducts, such as gelatin, squalene and estradiol, and harmful ingredients such as lead, phthalates and parabens. Research reveals that not only are these ingredients detrimental to our health, but exposure to these chemicals and animal byproducts can disrupt the endocrine system and balance of hormones.
Ayurveda is an ancient science aimed at preventing and healing imbalances within the body. By using ingredients in our products that embrace the ayurvedic philosophy, we help people attain and maintain their optimal beauty, health and well-being. At Namskara, all of our products are vegan and free of phthalates, sulfates, triclosan, parabens and fragrance.

We perform routine testing of raw materials and finished products in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements, but because our standards are far more stringent than current GMPs, we test every lot of our raw materials and finished products for compliance with industry defining quality standards using independent, third-party labs.
In addition, all of our products are manufactured in a state-of-the-art FDA-Registered laboratory in the United States. All of our products are NSF Certified.
